 Personally, I have always been a responsible student. I care about my grades and strive to get the best grade possible in each class. Even when I was younger, my mom never had to make me do my homework or put time restraints on me so I would get my classwork done; I always wanted to do well and did not need any outside source telling me to get work done. The one thing that does sometime get me is procrastination. My procrastination is different than others however. I like to get assignments done a few days before they are due and if I finish an assignment on the due date I am stressed while doing it. Me "procrastinating" is waiting til a day or two before the assignment is due for me to actually do it. I really enjoyed reading about some time management strategies and how to better manage the workload of school. With this particular class I plan to try to do the weeks assignments in the first few days of the week so I can focus on my other classes the rest of the week. I hav...

 I am not familiar with the technology behind websites and the things you can do with them. I have been learning a lot just from this first week of class and am excited to learn more things I can do online. I use safari as my main search engine; however, I also have chrome. I had no idea I could do the things this assignment mentioned and I will definitely use them in the future. I really appreciate this class for teaching us more about technology and trying to help us for our lives after college. I had very little web skills before this class so I have learned a lot so far. The assignment I am most intrigued by is the storybook project. I find it very interesting because it allows us to use our creative writing skills as we tell the reader a new story. I also like how it gives us the freedom to design our story and the aesthetic of the storybook pages. Another thing that excites me about this class is that it is so much different than any other class. First of all, no tests. I love that we do not have tests but we are still able to learn so much. Another thing that makes this class different is that we make blog posts like this one. I am used to a discussion board on canvas, but never have I used blog posts to express my thoughts. Lastly, all of the extra credit options capture my attention because it is extra credit. I strive to do the best I possibly can in any class and extra credit is a great way to do that.  (Extra Credit:  Science lessons )

 The name "growth mindset" sounded familiar when I first saw it. I vaguely remember going over this in one of my other classes. Carol Dweck is an amazing person and has a huge heart for children and the learning process. I like the fact that she wants to instill self confidence in the youth so they can know who they are and achieve their goals. When watching her Ted Talk, I found myself agreeing and disagreeing with her throughout the video. I particularly am not a huge fan of parts of her "not yet" idea. I think that if someone fails a class, they should fail the class and not be let down easy with a "not yet." This might sound harsh, but I think not having the option of failing would cause some people to do less than sufficient work and not think twice about it.  My name is Robbie Johnson. I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma and am a senior here at OU. All my life I have been a huge fan of sports. I played almost every sport when I was younger such as football, baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, and track. My favorites are definitely football and basketball. As I grew older, I cut the sports down to just football and basketball because I did not have enough time for that many extracurriculars. Now that I am in college, I am focusing my attention on school and my major is Health and Exercise Science. After college I am looking to go to chiropractic school. So far I have loved my experience at OU and will cherish it forever. I hate that I am going to miss out on so much fun my senior year because of the coronavirus but I am dedicating my time to have as much fun with the unfortunate situation we have all been placed in. This storybook caught my eye because of the title. As soon as I clicked on this storybook, I knew I was in for an interesting ride. The dark mysterious vibe the home page and intro present are spot on and capture the attention of the viewer. I love how the writer draws us in to the book as he ends the intro with "enter the labyrinth." This storybook was very intriguing and I felt like I was in a movie of some sort. It also made me feel like I was going into a maze and I loved everything about it. My favorite place is Grand Cayman. I went to this island on a vacation with my family when I was younger and I had the best time. The food was amazing, the people were nice, and the beach was incredible.
